Mine only does that if it sits for a couple of weeks. And it's just a small blue puff at start up. I might not be the best example, though. I had the exhaust side completely rebuilt two years ago. Thirty seconds of smoke sounds wrong. Throw a Porsche code reader on it. That is what I would do, anyway.
