Pulse Sender/Crank Sensor workshop manual?

I wonder if anyone has any info about the replacement Pulse Sender/Crank Sensor and in particular to the plug socket, connector and the gasket?
There is a workshop manual "993 KD-NR. 97 50 41" for the install probably related to the modification to the plug. Does anyone have this workshop info handy or shed some light on what is required before I get in there?

Looks like the optimized plug replaces the old square one. This bulletin has been referenced to for other sensor plug replacements as well.

This sounds like a faulty hall sensor, a dirty hall sensor, or a hall sensor that has fallen out of alignment to me.
The hall sensor is like a crank shaft location sensor, but it reads off of the flywheel as I recall. It is used by your ecu to tell it when to fire a coil pack. Some procedures for testing it can be found here:
