JPP it is necessity that drives the curiosity. I am on a tight budget since I was born...
The only thing that halts me is all the rust prone bolts and clamps. I wish I could galvanize in the workshop.
This way I do not have to unbolt, brush the rust off the bolts, and put them back, (every 2 years)
I will start a thread soon of all the hidden rust points I discovered, and we all could put pictures
for others to check.

I’m keenly waiting for your windscreen removal and fitting write up. I’m comfortable with doing a bare metal re-spray but the glass removal is holding me back.
Please keep those pictures coming.
thank you for the encouragements. I will post full detail. Until this stage, it is easier than it sounds.
thank you.

Well .. you're already doing silver plating out of your kitchen .. I'd think galvanizing and anodizing would be the next logical step!

JP, I'd rather no acid in the workshop...I should find a solution of treating the bolts and
nuts once for good, not every two years.
BTW, even new bolts and clips from Porsche around the Cat, rust in no time.
looks like a mustang morphing in the above picture, me thinks

Very cool metal work Geolab!

Plus, you have the Varioram casting in your manifold so your car is extra quick lol.

I'll add to an 8 year old post...

When Al (Cemoto) had a new top put on the cab he took this photo. 982 is the PTS color code for the car. Not sure what the other marking stands for.

Guys - I think George lost the car in a fire in 2013 - you weren't to know.

Hey George - I am afraid the Goodwood charity event is cancelled this year. Maybe you can make it over in 2021?
