Default Z-10 Zaino Leather in a Bottle

Hi

Has anyone used the Z-10 Zaino Leather in a Bottle?
Does it smell like leather, as reported?
Is there a difference in the softness of the leather once applied?
Anyother comments?

Thanks,

I use it and really like it.

Smells terrific and does a great job of moisturizing the leather.

I've alternated between this and Lexol for the past 10 years and actually prefer the matt finish of the latter. Both are excellent though and nourish the leather keeping it supple. There is a bit more fragrance in the Zaino and they do smell nice.

Long time Zaino user here too. It does have a leather smell, in newer cars it retains a new car leather scent. Of course not so in the 993.

Very satisfied and keeps the leather looking/feeling great. Make sure you get the Zaino leather cleaner too, you must apply before the conditioner.

Thanks for the feedback.
I have just looked on the Zaino Australia web site and the leather cleaner and conditioned is almost 3 time the price of the US sites. WOW. Shipping is sure expensive to Australia.....
And maybe profiteering

I have used all of the Zaino products and feel most are the very best. For leather care and reconditioning however, I have found no equal to Leatherique. It is nothing short of phenomenal.

Hi Skicoach,
I have used Leatherique since I purchased my 993 and it has been great and works well.

The thought of having the new leather smell of the Zaino in my 993 had it's appeal.

Maybe keep using the Leatherigue and put some new fresh leather pieces under the seats, for the smell..

I hadn't thought about that. I do believe the feel of the leather is superior with the leatherique. I think it really soaks effectivle.

I agree, I brush the leatherique on with a brush and keep applying it for a few weeks at a time, really letting it soak in, wipe it dry and the leathers looks great and is soft.

I was just looking to see if the Zaino was better.....................

Been using Zaino Z10 for years. My interiors look very minty.

I've used it many times and I do like it, but Sonus Leather Conditioner is even better. Rumor has it that it was formulated to match the smell of new Porsche leather. It sure does smell like a new car. At first I thought Z-10 smelled like leather. It smells more like chemicals to me now.

I have been using Zaino products and have been very pleased with them. The leather conditioner does have a nice smell and does a good job keeping the leather soft. I may have to look in to the Sonus as well.

I use the Zaino and it does smell good but not exactly like new leather, maybe I'm expecting too much. It's the best I've found so far though. Most of the leather treatments I've tried smell of saddle oils but not leather. Be interesting to hear more about the Sonus.

Zaino stuff seems to be of very good quality and my seats are doing very well. Their wax got a very high rating (maybe the best, can't recall) a couple years back by Consumer Reports.
