Default So my replacement trim piece from ECS arrived today...help

I got the passenger side trime piece from ECS today. My original piece (and screws, snap) was missing when I bought the car. Unfortunately, the replacement piece didn't come with screws or the snap.

The left one is the replacement for the pass side and the right one is the original from the drivers side.

Does anyone know where I can source the screws and snap? ECS? An upholstery shop? Lowes?

Remember my post with the PET showing those parts on your original thread? I'd bet an upholstery shop will have standard snap pieces that work fine ... and can install for you (I've found that most shops are amazingly good natured about this ..) BUT you know me .. I'm such a fuddy duddy when it comes to original german quality and design .. I'd order those pieces from .. (fill in the blank of your favorite Porsche OEM parts source here .. heh .. ;-P) here's the thread with the PET numbers, item's 7, 8 and 24 through 28 and 32 ...

but any decent counter guy/gal can pull up the hardware and order it for you based on the trim piece number. I'd get them all and then take those pieces for the riveted snap with you to an upholstery shop and ask them to pop it in for you .. or if you're handy and have a universal rivet gun, it's pretty easy to do.

An alternative is to find your local industrial supply store (hardware store on steroids). In SD we have Marshalls (not the amp, not the clothing store) for example. Aisles and aisles of nuts/bolts/washers/misc bits, everything to fix anything. Candy store for the DIY guy (or girl).

JPP is correct, you should need 7, 8, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 32

Here is a pre-assembled cart with every piece of hardware you need already in it. I would have replied earlier, but I was at lunch! Feel free to shoot me a PM if you ever have a question about an order.

Thanks as always to JPP (do you sleep with that Courtesy Phone or something?) for being so helpful on helping me track down parts and part #s. You are THE MAN

Also, another example of OUTSTANDING customer service by my friends at ECS. I had a question on shipping costs and I PM'ed them...they immediately got back to me to let me know there was an error in thier system and that it was now corrected (I like to think we helped each other on that one). So, not only did I place the order for $9 of parts for the pass side, I popped for the whole enchilada for the drivers side too since it was a little tired looking (maybe I'm getting a little JPP OCD.) So my order swelled to about $75. Now I know that isn't a huge sum, but I can tell you, I would not have parted with my hard-earned $$$ had I not gotten the service I got.

ECS is newer to the P-car community. They are working hard for our support and I encourage everyone to give them a try when they need something for these cars we love so much. Thanks fellas.

Ha. Have you been talking with my S.O.? Glad I could help .. and glad to see ECS grab the ball and slam it home. They're earning their keep here and that's a good thing to see :-)
