Default Door Pocket Spring Hinge Repair

Searched the forum and found some related posts... but not one answering this.

How do you get the spring hinge off the door? It appeared to be ridiculously simple with the removal of two screws - but it is still firmly attached the to door panel. I put a putty knife behind it and tried to loosen it... no luck.

What is the trick... I can't believe I am asking this. Doh!!!

Thanks

- John

There is a single screw on the inside/backside of the door panel.

Really... two screws on the front and another on the back side of the door panel... Seems I will have to get the panel off to get to the screw then.

I will give it a try. Thanks.
