Help. Drivers door speakers don't work. Sent radio and amp to Becker OK. Bought another amp, still has same problem. Checked wiring from amp plug to plug at door/speaker box. All good except black wire, # 7 on amp plug. Ran jumper to by-pass, still no speakers. Is that ground? Any suggestions?

Ground wires are brown but ground for the speaker is not the same as ground on the electrical system, it is a "speaker -" vs "speaker +".

According to my wiring diag. #7 on the amp plug is ground, not a speaker signal.

Per my drawings the speaker wire colors for the drivers door (HiFi) are:

Green & Green/Brown - "Deep Range Speaker"
WT (White ?) & White/Brown - "Mid range speaker" & "High Range speaker"

Now the DSP Actuator (Dig Signal Processor ??) is also in the drivers door per the schematic.

Sorry but I have zero experience with the HiFi system in the 993's, hopefully someone with actual experience with them will chime in.

I completely rewired my stereo system removing the stock amp and speakers...My guess is that the Becker unit is not sending the signal...Have you tried another radio for signal input?
