Default New Turbo Tail

Hi All,
I just got a factory turbo tail installed today on my 96 C4S. One question I have is how to get the warning light to stop coming on everytime I go above 50 mph and the car realizes it doesn't have an adjustable spoiler anymore? I removed the wiring harness back to where it plugs in but each time I go faster than 50mph the car thinks there is a problem with the old adjustable spoiler that isn't there anymore, so I get the warning light and the smaller indicator light that the spoiler has a malfunction. Just wasn't sure if there is a way to disable this indicator light for the adjustable spoiler or am I going to have to reset the warning light everytime the car goes faster than 50 mph.

Thanks,
Ryan

The simplest method is this: Locate the box behind the dash, above where the passenger's left toe points, in the picture below. Unplug the connector as shown. No more light. There are no side effects. That box is the spoiler control module.

Thanks, I'll try this over the weekend. I'll also post some pics.

I'm also considering a Turbo tail for my C4S.

Did you get an OEM one or find a nice aftermarket replica?

I had a factory TT tail on the back of my cab. I sold it to a good friend of mine that never installed it. He still has it in the garage and wants to sell it. PM me if you are interested I can put you two together.

I bought an OEM one. I wasn't going to chance an aftermarket one. It fits perfectly and the look is amazing!

Can you post some pics? I've got both suspension and wheels to consider first then I'll look at a TT wing...

I just put a factory turbo S on mine! I was able to get it from from a fellow Rennlister at a resonable price. I do have a new MA Shaw Turbo S tail if anyone is interested. I have closely examined both and can comment on the differences if there are any questions.
