bbs wheels are the holy grail of wheels in my opinion. I love them on anything. Great classic look
Yes they also made 17" versions for specific applications but they are becoming very rare as others have stated. I think they were refured to as "SUPER RS" wheels.

people are splitting an refinishing these wheels in all kinda colours and styles. Widen the lips, slant lips, steped lips, painting lips,chrome lips changing the bolts, spikes, hex bolts, different wheel caps, flush mount, half height nuts caps and different coloured gold/red logo, black/gold logo center an on and on.. Kinda interesting to be honest.
after watching this link there are about amillion links in youtube you can check out. Bigtime wheel in the VW crowd. Enjoy.
