WTB: airbag clock spring
Before I drop $250 on a new one, maybe someone out there has one laying around, a takeoff from a track conversion, etc.
What's a clock spring? It's a wound-up electrical connector that supplies power to the airbag while letting the steering wheel turn round and round. For unknown reasons mine has disintegrated.
Part number (superseded) 996-652-211-01
This is what it looks like.

BUT
it came with one of the sticky-up steering wheel registration things broken off.
I bought it because MY original clockspring had one of the sticky-up steering wheel registration things broken off.
i just repaired my original.
will sell the other one for $60 + shipping.
I think i paid ~ $80 for it.
