I'm so happy for you. Congratulations! I know how excited you both must be. Try to have a calm non-obsessed weekend.

Thanks Everyone!! Our guests just left and this is the first chance I've had to get back on RL all day.

While at dinner the phone rang and it was DeMoise. The car will be in our driveway on either Wednesday or Thursday.

I'll try have a non - obsessed rest of the weekend, but I doubt that will happen unless someone pops a Xanax in my drinking water!

I'll have more specs in the morning.

THANKS!!!!

Now the trick would be to get our two together. But since you're "there" and I'm broken, not too likely, huh?

(I'll raise your buying a little ol' 993 with a house we kind of bought on a whim today.)

Well, not like we were looking! But turning the corner to mom's house last weekend there was one of the corner golf course homes just listed. And it isn't one of the large ones. So we put in a strong all-cash/quick close offer, and with the little frenzy that happened today when the offers were presented, we prevailed.

Hilarious that we can't even (nor are we ready to) occupy the place, as it's in a 55-over community. But mom will need me around a lot more down the road, so into the rental market it goes for the time being.

The best view:

Love the Porsche JoAnne and Ken you're a good son for buying a place close to your mum. I'm sure she's thrilled. Congratulations to you both.

Great looking car - congrats!!

It was featured in European Car magazine a couple of months ago & then I saw it come up for sale on Pelican - the PO sunk a good few $$$ into the nice modifications:

Ken ~ Believe me, you are not ready for an over 55 community yet. We've tried that (when Robert was 57) and we failed...... miserably. Nice looking place though. Is it in a Del Webb?
