OK, good to know. Looks like they are actually in the states as well so I wouldn't have to wait on a boat from Hong Kong..thanks!!

Actually my buddy just suggested something...black Plasti-Dip spray my original silver caps and then just peel it off when it's time to go back to silver. That would be a $7 solution I might have to try first, and might look as good (or better) than the ultra cheapo caps.

Sounds like it's worth a try at least ... I wonder if you could have them 'wrapped' really cheaply ..

I could wrap them in carbon fiber vinyl!!

That might be even less, just drop by some place that does wraps and grab some scraps. I've never done it but it can't be that hard on a small flat piece..

Mm. CF not so much ... but that's what I was thinking .. like just ask for some scraps from a flat black wrap job and a couple of pointers right? I bet it's just like using 'Stretch-Tite' food wrap :-P

My old set is pretty faded, can it be sandblasted and made silver like the hood badge? Florida sun was not kind to the color.

Hey Travis - I bought a set of caps from Sunset last year. They were real Porsche caps and they were only $12 each at the time. I used a Scotchbrite pad to scuff them and a dental pick to scuff inside the logo before I painted them. As Keith stated - best to wait until you have the wheels so you can match the paint better. It took me three cans of flat black plastic paint in spray cans before I found a good match.
