Dealer would having something this small?
im coming from a 944, so 'the dealership' never even enters into my thought process, i need to realize there are real ways to get parts now.
im coming from 5 years of:
step one - ask on forum
step two- ebay
step three - junk yards

You got it right, just that some parts are so cheap that you may want to skip the last two steps.

Those pieces are always cracking....finally got fed up with replacing them so this time when one started developing a hairline crack, I covered both in 3M di-noc for the pseudo carbon fiber look
