I am bumping a really old thread here:

I am about to buy a two post lift and am curious if you ever decided (or are willing) to make more of these?

Thanks!

I’m in the same boat. I am also looking at a Mohawk lift, which appears to be the same model shown. Really, really interested in buying a set of these as they appear far superior to the factory optioned Mohawk ones. Plus the Mohawk patent has expired as of 2016, which can be seen at the link below.

I went down this road of exploration and found that Mohawk lift wheel cradle covers wheels up to only 205 or 215mm. Not even close to our 235F and 265-295R tire widths. The sales rep ghosted after I pointed that out.

Right. I inquired with them to see if they had any updated versions to support larger wheels. We’ll see if they respond.

I dont have the wheel adapters or have much need. But can definitely vouche for the mohawk lift. Overbuilt and always feels safe. I needed a shorter 2 post lift with variable overhead hydraulic lines. If i store my car on it for ling periods i just remive the wheels to reduce the droop on suspension

Default Wheel engaging adaptors ** new design **

Rather than wheel engaging adaptors what about custom wheel ramps that sit directly on top of the 2 post lift mounts? Drive the car up onto the wheel ramps and hoist the vehicle from directly under the wheels. This would eliminate the twist action on the lift arms and should allow for full lift capacity. Wheel ramps could have a concave tire pocket or wheel lock as needed to prevent the vehicle rolling/sliding. Thoughts?

Default Wheel engaging adapters

Do sell these wheel engaging adapters? If so how much and how can I get a hold of a set?
Thanks
