I don't do canyon runs with the S2000. The s2000 is also very tail happy but you can definitely rotate the 993 more easily. Of the three, it's my least desirable car to drive although it's tough and well built and nice with the top down.
Thanks for the info

Congrats on the immaculate C2S, new pics are nice!

Haha,

I don't think I have a car problem. I have different cars for different purposes just like I have several types of footwear for different occasions.

E30 M3 for canyon/fun runs
993 fun/commuting (dry)
S2000 track/cruising with top down
SUV commuting (wet)/hauling crap for work
minivan family hauler

Congrats. As a previous S2000 owner myself, I can vouch for the move. I still love the S2000 but really is a totally different experience. It took me nearly a year to get my C2S to the "comfort level" I had with the S as far as a tactile feel. My S2000 made more power (327 at the wheels thanks to a supercharger and other Comptech and AEM goodies) and was much lighter than the C2S. However I do feel more excitement in the Porsche. It rarely works hard to take me to the speeds I want to be like the S2000 both around town, on the freeway and am looking forward to track time.
Here is a pic of the engine bay from my last love:
