My new 96 C4S--Thanks Chris
After 5 months of looking, lurking and posting, I finally found the right car. Of course, it came from right here on Rennlist. Chris put his 96 C4S up for sale about 2 months ago. We contacted each other, exchanged questions/answers and agreed to a prelim price pending PPI. PPI went extremely smoothly and the deal was struck. Using Intercity, it took about 2.5 weeks to deliver the beauty, and Lee from Intercity was professional, personable, punctual and trustworthy. I enjoyed talking cars with him for around an hour as he was dropping it off. I cannot honestly see any way that Intercity would ever deliver a car that received any damage in their possession; they are that good.
Car came in early Saturday morning, and I enjoyed beautiful Springlike conditions for 2 straight days of running her around. Wow. Just amazing. Car is well sorted, exceptionally clean and mechanically sound. The upgraded sports seats and motor sound exhaust package make for an amazing tactile and aural celebration. My 8 year old daughter loves being able to reach over and high five me from her back seat perch (not possible in mom's SUV). All 3 kids and most of my neighbors love the looks, polar silver color and are surprised to hear it's a 16 year old car. My buddy with a polar silver 96 993TT and I went out for 20 minutes so he could wring her out a little and he was quite impressed. He couldn't get over the exhaust note. I think any exhaust upgrades (Fister 2/3) are gonna wait for a long while. I really cant imagine changing anything around right away except maybe some silver seat belts. Would dress up the black interior nicely.

Looks great Brian! Was a pleasure meeting you a few weeks ago! You should have driven by this weekend while I was doing my clutch. I really want to see it. congrats!

Best of luck Brian. You were a pleasure to deal with. Take care of it and don't mod it too much because in about 4 years I will on the hunt for another widebody 993 and the 1st call I am making is to see if you are tired of the C4S yet and ready to sell!!! Your daughter seems like she gets its already. I love the expression. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.....
