Default OT - Unmarked patrol cars

If you saw a black Charger R/T with big aftermarket rear spoiler pull up behind you at a light or on the road, you might be tempted to show what your 993 can do. Big mistake. The car is an unmarked Charger for the Hatfield Pa police. Saw the car sitting at the entrance to the Kohls parking lot. Pulled in, and as I was walking to the store, I could see he made a pass by my 993. Humm. When leaving, I passed the car and only then saw he was a uniformed officer with funny lights in the front grill. He must have been running plates for outstandings.

Hatfield (just north of Philly in Montgomery County) also has several other unmarked Chargers, but nothing as sneaky as this car.

Be careful out there.

Becoming pretty common these days. I see RT with spoiler patrol cars in my town and my neighboring towns. Actually, pretty sharp looking!

LOL...that's common.

I used to drive an unmarked with out of state plates (that were changed every week to a different state).

I've seen them also out here in NorCal. Black cars and Dark Tinted windows. Lights are in the front grill and the plates are regular "CA plates" not the usual "CA Exempt" plates.

Tampa has a couple Ford Escapes, a Dodge RAM Pickup, and a couple F-250 Super Duty trucks. Various colors.

Winter Park, FL was famous when I was growing up (early 70's) for using confiscated drug cars. They had a wide assortment of police vehicles, even had a Volvo 164E in their fleet.

And still do! I lived there until recently. They've got a couple Mustangs and an Audi also.

Miami Beach and Coral Gables has all kinds of unmarked cars. Everything from out of state tags to rentals from the local Enterprise. You never know what you'll see around here...
