Thx all.
Taking the cab up Tuesday to start swapping bits. Should have it back in a couple (or few) weeks.
Taking the cab for a family ride this weekend, then test driving the "before" coupe prior to the swap. Should be a fun few days but dayam...going to miss that cab.

Well, if I can't be skiing, this is the weather to have in March.
Saturday drove up with the family and some friends up the Palisades to Bear Mountain.
Sunday to the beach.
Tuesday went for a 120 mi drive (taking the loooooong way to the shop).
All with the top down. Wondering all the time if I've done the right thing buying a coupe. Ultimately it is the right thing for safety, but damn...that top down is just epic.
Dropped it off at the shop, then picked up the coupe to take for a drive. On first sight, it's great! Really pretty, really clean shape. As represented and reported in the Rennfax(es) and PPI(s). Couple little spots one sees when one purchased it
but other than that great.
Long list of bits to swap and prep and such. Will be at the shop a few weeks between their schedule and some upcoming travel on my part.
Here's a few pics because this is probably one of the few times in my life I'll own 2 Porsches, at least for awhile. The big bubble wrap in the cab is the Turbo wing for the coupe.

Congrats. Nice color but hard to keep clean. It shows every speck of dust. Everytime I buy a dark color car I say it is the last time. Well...here I am with a midnight blue car and all of the other cars in the garage are black. I guess some people never learn. ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Everytime I wash it I am glad I bought it. Enjoy yours. Can't wait to see your upgrades.

Picked it up over the weekend.
Pulled off the upper dash, lower dash, side trim. Headlights out for mini-HID, new rotors, new-ish pads, took off the brake sensors.
Couple remaining punch-list items after picking it up from the shop, but overall happy.
P.S. Not sure I would have done the semi-soft transmission mount had I heard it before-hand. There was a thread about noise and I'll post there, but damn...it's loud.

Work continues...DAS bar, Recaro seats (unfortunately tan at the moment, will have to sort that out), black dash and other bits that are blue shifting to black.
Also shots of the brake cooling back from the shop.
