Will Meet @ Exit 5 Only - **No Fishkill**
Hey guys,
We have decided since there appears to be a low turnout for the Fishkill meeting spot, it will be logistically easier for us to consolidate it to only the Tappan, Exit 5 location. That means, please meet only at Exit 5 on the Palisades Pkwy by 7:30am. We will NOT be meeting in Fishkill so please do not wait there.
We are still finalizing the route which is 99% complete, however we are looking for a bathroom/gas stop midway somewhere off I-84 & the Taconic. If anyone is familiar with that area and now a good rest stop that will have ample parking for 40+ cars, please PM me.
A few things to remember to bring the day of:

Will you be able to email the route in advance,
I may want to wait for you guys on the side of the road somewhere along the way as the meet up point is in the opposite direction by 2 hours for me

I know ski bum, I am considering it, just not sure about how the wife will hold up, I may have to let her drive so she does not get to restless. We took the car out all day on mothers day and she drove it like she stole it. She would not let me drive it all day, I was only aloud to be the passenger, I guess I should be thankful she let me go for the ride.

We will meet near exit 5 off the Palisades but will have a rest stop most likely within a few miles of the Taconic Pkwy and Interstate 84 if you prefer to meet there. Details will be out once I confirm the rest area location after work tomorrow.

In case someone misses the info in the 1st post about donations .....
"Donations will be collected at the starting point. If you prefer to write a check, they can be made out "Survive the Drive" and "Lime Rock LLC" for $15 each."
Also, Vinny just IM'd me that he cannot make it. We really did not want the Shelby 500 making all that noise (actually...I really did).
