I've never had any SS lines with covers before, never had a problem. But I am certainly not going to complain! I hadn't even seen them before buying...but I assumed you guys wouldn't sell crap, and at that price, it's easy to justify replacing them every other year or so for cheap insurance. I just hope I have the right ones for the '95-ed-ness of my car.. :-s

That said, no matter the make/model, I have never heard a complaint about Goodridge lines, only praise. No experience with them though.

Two it is! I also have Roger's, Chopper's and M&J African Amber on tap in my garage. I coordinate my trips over to the wet side of the Cascades to re-stock!!

I hate you, and I mean that in the nicest way possible! M&J is my fall back if there's no Manny's..can't say I've had the other two though (fairly new to the PNW still though).

I put Goodridge on the '97 and Techna-Fit on the '98. I thought the Techna-Fit went much smoother and the fit was better.

Those other two are other beers made by Georgetown Brewing (who make Manny's).

If you make it over to the dry side sometime, give me a heads up if you can stop by for a cold one and we can talk Porsches.

You know there are some roads out that direction I've been wanting to check out..life's going to be hectic for a bit here but once the dust settles I'm hoping to hit the exploration as hard as I can this summer. I'll be in touch!

Continuing my lucky streak, I found myself with a line coming up short, probably 1-1.5".

While that's severely disappointing (and progress stopping), the other 3 seem to be pretty good stuff. Stuff happens!

got your PM and replied.
we'll send it out asap on Monday

this is a first

assuming you are under time constraints, best bet is to re-install the old line and we'll send a liter of brake fluid with the replacement
Ate blue or gold, let us know

sorry Travis!

Thank you! Don't worry about it, just kinda one of those things. Just a fluke, or maybe made on a Monday morning, haha..

Eh..I'm not too worried. $99 for a set of lines is a pretty good value, I'd get them again if I did it over. But yes, FD FTW!

An issue with the Goodridge and other lines I have used is that the mounting tabs on the chassis and strut are "D" shaped and the line's fittings are round so a flat has to be filed onto the fittings to fit into the "D".

When doing the file job, one as to be careful that the flats on each end of the front lines are in correct registration with each other such that they match the relation angle of the flats on the chassis and strut so an unnecessary twist is not introduced into the line during installation.
