Yup, CH has written some good stuff over the years. Was a "road tester" at Autocar from the late 90's, done stuff for Evo, Excellence, GT Porsche, now on Pistonheads. His Jalopnik article on Ferrari and their all-controlling attitude towards reporting on their cars ruffled enough feathers that he has/had a ban on invitations to drive new F-cars.

He's owned some truly awesome machinery over the years too. Porsches: 88 911 Club Sport, 2004 997 Carrera S, 996 Turbo, 996 GT2, 993 GT2, 993 RS, 993 C2, hot-rod green 911 longhood, Cayman S, 997.1 GT3, 997 GT3RS 4.0 (from what I remember). Non-Porsches of note: Lambo Gallardo (one of the 1st in the UK), Ferrari 512TR, Ferrari 575M (manual/non-F1 with Fiorano pack), Ferrari 612 Scag are most noteworthy to me. He's also run some great cars under the "long term" theme (manufacturer supplied): Mercedes SLS among several AMG-Mercs, different Jags, BMW M-cars.......I want to be a journalist when I grow up!
