It's an aluminum hood - good catch on the alignment, might also be due to the hood pins which need a little alignment.

Stunning . The defroster lines in the rear windscreen is the only giveaway I could spot. The standard exhaust tips are also more common than big ovals on the 993RS but big ovals look better IMHO. Very nice car!
