Ok settled on Saison, Benu, Quince and Locanda and tossing in some lunches at Coqueta, 25 Lusk and Foreign Cinema... sprinkle on top booze from Bourbon and Branch, Novella and Alchemist..

Fingers crossed.. will report back..

Anyone got any nice non-touristy parks they want to suggest near downtown?

Considering all the great eating you'll be doing, the Filbert steps to coit tower is a great excursion to burn some calories and enjoy some beautiful scenery.

" If you know you want to climb the scenic steps, you can actually park on the east side, near Levi Plaza and Sansome Street, and start from the bottom."

Saison - Best meal of my life to date.
Benu - Amazing creativity
Quince - Second time.. better than the first..
Locanda - Night before the Pride parade.. the hood was in full party mode... great evening great atmosphere
Coqueta - Meh.. biggest disappointment by far.
25 Lusk - Crazy good brunch
Foreign Cinema - Great location.. so cool.. food, staff and crowd was great would love to go at night.
Bourbon and Branch - Over hyped waste of time.. a novelty at best.
Novella - Great new bar.. recommend
Alchemist - Missed going.. too full of food and booze lol

Over all .. win win win win .. love that city so much.. need to go back soon.

Just ate at Locanda for the first time a couple weeks back and was very impressed. Even found parking on a Friday night in the 993.

Tried to make reservations at NOPA for my daughter's birthday in a month and a half (her first choice) but they're booked up full. Suggested Locanda instead....
