Default WTB: Roll bar for '96 993 Sunroof coupe

Hey guys,

Looking to buy a roll bar for DE events mainly. Car will be street driven mostly. I still need 50% (or more) recline on the passenger side. Any ideas? I looked at Heigo / FVD but canoot understand their diagrams. Willing to look at others...

Many thanks!

Looking for the same thing ... At the same time ...

Can't help with the recline question however! Here's a picture instead of diagram, maybe it helps? If not, I think some users here have the heigo in their car so maybe they can help.

I' m hesitating between roll bar or roll cage from heigo, both in combination with the harness bar, would want to install 6 point harness sabelt in combination with the hardbacks port seats.

Just hesitant on entry and exit difficulty with full cage. If anyone has pics of this install, would be helpful.

Don't mean to steal you thread however :-)

Morning bump. Looking for a place in the US or Canada that sells what I am looking for. Not too keen on the Euro.

I have one from my '95 that I will be removing soon. I can take some pics if you're interested.

Is the Heigo approved for DE? I think I recall something awhile ago about their cab version not being Club approved, but don't recall the specifics.

No since in Coupe no bar is required.

I used to have Heigo and benefit of that roll bar is that you can remove the diagonal bar from behind the seats, won't be as strong obviously but then you have pretty clear access to the back, inclining reclining.

Interesting. How does the Heigo compare to the DAS?

It's made of pieces that bolt together (unlike DAS which is welded together).

Here's a photo I found on-line that explains better. When I had a Heigo roll bar, I was able to put it in & out without removing my bucket seats (which obviously don't tilt).

I have a DAS bar that I recently removed from my 964. It will fit 993 and 964 coupes with a sunroof. It is black and will bolt in using existing holes. I would sell for $700 plus shipping. I will post a picture later if interested.

Doesn't Autopower make a bar for the 993 that has a decent amount of recline?

Coop, why do you need so much recline? Are you very tall?

This DAS bar just came on the market: https://rennlist.com/forums/for-sale...-or-993-a.html
