Getting excited about it, as well. We'll be up there Thurs night through Mon morning. Staying in Carmel all 4 nights. I'll be at the Legend event most of the day on Friday with my brother, probably Mecum auction on Sat afternoon, the little Ferrari event at the Barnyard shopping place and the rest of the weekend we will be just winging it. I'm sure I'll be at the Roadhouse at least one night, Hogs Breath with a cigar for one, as well. Doubt I'll even make it to the track this year.
We are just really looking forward to some time away from work and the kids,............. while being on car-nut overload. If you see me cruising around, give a shout.

At any rate, I've got a number of qts of Mobil 1 and a couple of filters in stock in the garage-oil change on Saturday, and a new set of RS motor mounts I "came across" recently. Maybe install the steering rack brace I got from Peter while she's on the lift.
I'm gonna get out of here at 5am and to Laguna Seca at noonish on Friday, and head to San Jose for dinner with family that night. At the track early Saturday, and I'll spend the day there. Maybe we can hook up for dinner and/or drinks Saturday after the events? I'm gonna be packing Habanos, as is the norm for me!
The english place on the harbor has outdoor dining, and has been cigar friendly, but I'm sure there are others.
I think I'm gonna bug out early Sunday morn for a blast down #1. We'll see.

SCORE!
I just got tickets to Gordon McCalls Motorworks Revival! My uncle got tickets and can't make it so I am taking his place!
I am now heading up North early Wednesday morning to Monterey and will be in town until Sunday.
Is anyone up for meeting on Thursday? Lunch along the Coast would be fun if it's just before or after the Cars on Ocean Ave show.

That is awesome Peter! Be sure and pack the blue blazer and your best ascot.
I wish I could get up there sooner in the week, but I won't roll in until about noon on Friday.
I just got back from Portland, and my Porsche Corral pass was here!

Mark - I know what you and your car look like, so I'll keep an eye out for you :-)
Ed - You have been so nice about my "stupid" questions on this forum. I hope I get to meet you, too!
Can't wait!

Hopefully helpful resources I've used the previous 3 years:
Gordon's great, as are his organizers & they're 993-friendly. Have a blast!

Have fun Peter, I wish I had more time to throw at this and was leaving today or tomorrow.
I'm stuck here until 5am Friday, when I get to head north. If anyone is headed up Hwy 1, they showed on the news that the station between San Simeon and Big Sur is right at $7/gal for premium.
Any ideas or interest in a Sat nite meeting or get together for the RL group?
