Ed, Pete,
My wife & I were invited to the Concous D' Elegance at Pebble this year by a home owner on the 18 fairway so we will be there too and would like to get together for food & drinks, but after the ride up for Rennsport Reunion IV last October my wife says we have to take her Merc C300 sport because she would probably have a heart attack if she had to ride up the 1N at ludicrous speed in my 993 again....lol

I'm leaving my wife home-like Peter, I'll prolly take advantage of a nice drive home down 1. With my wife along, her stomach can't take speedy curves very well.

But here's a Renn-Dare for you.
When all the cars are lined up on the fairway, go out into your friend's back yard with a bucket of golf *****, drop them on the lawn, and make like you're gonna start hitting irons towards the 18th green...

What's the Concourse on the Avenue event in Carmel? Can you just show up, park on the street and walk around to see the cars if you're not an entrant?

Update! Ok, I'm in and registered for Legends of the Autobahn show at Canada Golf Club on Friday .. showing in the 'non-judged' event because .. well .. my car is too "new" to be judged .. 
I even sprang for the $25 Kobe Beef Burger lunch .. which we all know can't be Kobe beef because you can't import it .. but that's ok, the Potato salad will make up for it

Yes you can ,if you can find a parking space.Great event!!Also fun to show up to Ocean Ave on Thursday of Car Week. For all the Pebble Beach Concours Entrants that want to gain extra points, they have a Rally.They all stop in Carmel for lunch and then about 2 PM they all drive back to Pebble Beach.Kinda cool to watch them all drive off,down Ocean Ave towards Pebble.

I really want to send a car out for the weekend. Anyone here live real close to Monterey that wouldn't mind helping out? Last year Mark and Darin were extremely welcoming to my car and my "crew". Looking for something close so I can send one of the little cars that aren't highway friendly. 20 miles would be my maximum drivable distance each way. Please help!!!

I have family in the area so I am either going to be staying at my Uncles house in Carmel or borrow a cabin just above the Rancho Canada Golf Course (Legends of Autobahn spot).
