Found IT! - Looking for a 993
Hey all. Seems to be a lot of this going around... But I am seriously looking to get back in a 993.
I'm looking for a driver. I was very close a couple months back, but the car failed the leak down. Dead cylinder.
Ideal car would be a well sorted rennlist car. Gotta be a coupe. Anything but red and yellow considered. Aventurine would be heaven. Price and mileage I am flexible on. As stock as possible with the exception of suspension and other basics.
Saw surfers car for sale, but 149k seems just a little high in miles. Bob in NY had a great one, but a little too nice, I'm just looking for a driver. The c2s that was recently delisted was possible, but just not interested in paying the S premium.
Anyway, all leads appreciated. I'm located in New Mexico but will travel for the car.

sounds like you got the big things figured out...exactly what your looking for, and how you intend to use it. The drivers are out there, best of luck!
Concentrate on mechanicals, don't let minor accident history or paint work make you not consider a good driver.

Why? Certainly if it's priced correctly, and has had a good life. My 4S at nearly that mileage I'll put up against pretty much any other with 50-75% of the miles. With $2K worth of cosmetic cleanup, I'd pull the odo and challenge anyone to guess the mileage.

The failed leak down car was $26k... 104k miles in good shape. And yeah, I drove that car in Espanola last year. It had a horrible shimmy while braking... Seemed over priced.
