Trying to replace my distributor (slave dist. has a wobble). Removed the 13mm nut and now I cannot pull the distributor out no matter what I do. I am trying this with a warm engine should I wait and try with a cold engine?? Any suggestions on what to do next??

after a couple searches you'll find ideas, best of which is the big slide hammer. there's a pic someplace...
I used what I had on hand, a long wood clamp hooked under the distributor and mallet. comes out after a couple blows.

Use a slide hammer. I made my own a long time ago.
Porsche Tech Stuff and scroll down to Distributor.

I have a similar clamp, but instead of making a correct slide as in the above thread I just left the clamp wide open and gave the upper end a couple pops with the rubber mallet. also used some padding under the distributor housing.

There are times when even the hammer/puller won't get it out. You'll need heat. Just drive the car until the engine is hot. Then it should come out easily with the puller.

My dist belt broke and I have to send it to Mark today. So naturally it will not come out. I got it loose but won't break loose from it's gears. Lacking the required tool I used a long piece of wood to enter the engine tin hole normally used by one of the CAT O2 sensors and got the dist to pop off it's shaft gears. I did however blemish the casing of the dist. I was careful NOT to position the wood beneath the fragile electric dist connector.

I am going to adapt my dent puller (slide hammer) as Alex suggested using it on my distributor removal. But if that is not successful I will try your long wood approach

The only thing that will cause the distributor to stick in place is the O-ring; the distributor drive gear won't cause that. On one DIY, engine vacuum was what was holding the distributor in place, if you can believe that.

Use some aircraft cable with vinyl hose slipped over it to protect the finish of the distributor as I did, and it won't put a scratch on anything.
Place a blanket over the driver's side fender into the engine bay, in case the distributor comes flying out...take small blows of the slide hammer.
