Yeah, but now you have a full race motor as opposed to a stock motor of unknown history. Of course, I have no idea what you spent, so maybe you could have bought three stockers for the price of your rebuild...

Actually Mark the motor I had was rebuilt with upgrades to the components that matter for track use. ( think parts alone were around 8k ) If I had not gone to the 3.8 RSR motor it would be in my car right now. I am sure Ryan has a nice setup now, but it just keeps adding up.

Bob, didn't you buy a stock motor and put it into your car at one point after your original mill got damaged? Maybe I'm remembering it wrong.

Yep, I sold that to a guy in Texas that used it in a conversion SC. I actually bought a car that I was going to repair, but the frame was tweaked so I sold the engine after using it for Hyperfest only last year. (really wanted to get a race in last year!!!)
