We're in Palm Springs, CA to winter away from our Canadian cold for a couple of months and I've been trying several outlets Pep Boys, Autozone and one other to find the 993 gear oil recommended by some of our RL members, Delvac 75/90. None of these outlets cary the transmission oil!!!

Does anyone know of a source near here in the Palm Springs area, that would carry this tranny Oil?

I tried to Google, but is of no help...

Try Grainger. If you don't have an account or know anybody with one you'll have to ask them to do a "courtesy" or "over the counter" sale.

Edit: I just checked and there doesn't appear to be a store anymore in P/S,,, closest one looks to be Riverside,, 951/787-1960

 

Check with the parts department at the local truck dealers. Freightliner, Mack, Kenworth, International, etc.

Mobil Delvac 75w 90 full syn is the OE gear oil in Eaton & Mack rear ends.

Check your local Canadian truck dealers as well. You should be able to source it back in the great white north
