What should I expect in terms of maintenance on my new to me 993

I dont think the year makes that much of a difference.. they are all Porsche's. With the newer ones there might be less DIY you can do very easily.. more electronics to figure out... etc etc

You should drive both. They are both great cars but offer two different driving experiences. I am not alone here in going from a 993 to a 997 and then back to a 993. In my case I thought the 993 was more fun.

I have driven both and can say that they are completely different experiences.
The 993 is a timeless one though that will never feel dated, not as much power but a blast to drive. I just want to make sure my time is spent driving it not fixing it. Thanks for the help.

I replaced the orginal clutch on my Turbo in April 2011. Mileage was right near 50,000. My indy thought that was pretty standard for a Turbo. Replaced with a LWFW and performance clutch. This one will probably last much more than 50k miles.
