Default 1997 993 C2

I am new to this great forum and to my first Porsche, a 1997 993 C2 (silver/black interior). The car is in an excellent condition, however, it came with two "minor" issues that I am looking to resolve, a stuck passenger seat (fixed this afternoon), and an non-working cruise control. The previous owner never used the cruise control but remember it working a while back. I doubt I'll be a frequent user myself, however, still want it to work properly.

Are there some quick trouble shooting steps that I can take before taking things apart? The fuse is fine. Clutch (replaced ~20K ago) and break pedals don't seem to hang.

Appreciate the help...

Thank you. I found her on Craigslist (SF - Bay Area). It's been in Northern California since new.

Hi
My cruise control did not work and it was the adjustment of the switch on the brake pedal.
So I would do a check on the clutch and brake pedal switches.

Plus this is a very easy check.

Good Luck.

Thanks for the advice. I checked the clutch switch and the CC now works. The passenger seat was simply stuck and was a very easy fix as well.
