Default Can you Surflex a headliner / sunroof liner?

Looking at a car. Has grey/blue interior. I can deal with the grey, but not the blue. I've Surflexed door trim and upper dash...but can you surflex the headliner, and especially, the sunroof liner? Will it scratch off the surflex?

Not certain as I have never done it but I think it should be possible as the material should hold the color...main challenge I think would be applying since I think you'd want to remove it an use an airbrush...large areas, esp relatively flat are much easier to see streaks. Frankly if you have to remove it apply the Surflex you might as well replace it...I've wanted to replace my headliner with alcantara in dark grey or black like in recent model Audis. (Not sure if there is a kit for DIY but I would buy one if the DIY is not too challenging)
