Default Engine Lift Advice Needed

I dropped the powertrain out of my car yesterday to do a number of winter project tasks. I would like to split the transmission from the engine and then lift the engine onto an engine stand for the work to begin. I need advice on how to rig the lift. I'll be using a hoist to lift the motor

There appears to be a single lifting lug on top of the motor located close to the bellhousing. Can I lift the engine/transmission with this single lug? And, once the transmission is split from the engine, can the same lug be used to lift the engine onto the engine stand?

you could always use lifting straps around the crank case (helps if the exhaust is off, but it should be doable

Lifting lug on flywheel side and with the engine carrier still attached bolt a chain with the 2 engine mounting holes in the engine carrier. You may need a spreader for the chains so it doesn't drag on the fan housing, but it will be balanced pretty well.

EDIT, that was with the engine only, I didn't lift it with the trans attached.

Sorry no pic
