So it's 7:30pm and I'm sitting here watching the Porsches holding 9 of the top 10 positions. Wish I could be there. Earlier they showed several Porsches come in for tire change that had their wheels held on by lug nuts and not the center lock style that I thought was standard on the GT3 RS. Among those cars was the one that David Murray had led the GT class in from the start. When I think of the cubic money it takes to be there, I am surprised to see lug nuts. What's up with that? Things are looking good for our team, although it is early yet.......Chris

Ilko, I am watching the race and just saw the Weathertec Porsche pit for tires and it definitely had Centerlock wheels. Just a curiosity, no big deal....Chris

Ed, I was thinking that might be the case. I know that the earlier GT3 did not have Centerlock wheels. I don't know when, but I believe at some point they became standard equipment. Do the race rules not allow upgrades to newest eligible equipment, in this case Centerlock wheels? What are the negatives to the Centerlock wheels? It appeared that all of the Daytona prototypes were using them, as well as most of the Porsches. It's a poser, is all. I'd have them just because they look so cool.......Chris
