I am looking at new tires for my OEM Cup II 17-inch wheels.

Two questions:

1. Stock front is 205/50-17 .... would a 225/45-17 cause the steering to be too heavy?

2. Stock rear is 255/40-17 ..... would a 265/40-17 make me feel like I'm driving a pig b/c the larger diameter tire?


Anyone try any of the above combo? Let me know your thoughts.

no to both, the rear is going to give you a .9 - 1.4% hit in acceleration depending on the brand of tire because it is a bit taller
