Daytime Running Lights - US Spec car - who has done it?

When I did it on my 95 cab I didn't re-install the relay. I just used a fused jumper wire with a male spade connector on each end, the same size as the ones on the relay itself and plugged them directly into ports 30 and 87 in the panel. Worked great, has no problems with intermittent continuity and is easily removed because nothing is soldered to my relay.

Since my car is blacked out, I make it a habbit to turn on my lights everytime I take the car out.

All I do is turn on- then turn off when exiting the car. It is mandatory in Sweden to have lights on but I have been doing it for many years. People see the car much better! Not sure why you would want to do otherwise!
