oh $hit...my car ain't that clean ON TOP!
I'm still in the main garage...the lift is out in the back shed. The tractor rebuild should be finished up this weekend...finally-that's been occupying the shed space. If winter cooperates, I'll get the C4S around the back driveway and up in the air.
If anyone wants to see pics of a dirty/muddy/cosmoline covered underneath...just let me know.

Three Wheelin'
I'll take that as a complement. Thank you
The Esco jack stands are great and don't get in the way like a sizzor lift. I don't have sufficient head room in my shop to justify a 2 or 4 post.
Every winter (December-March) I get the car up on stands and do some annual maintenance and housekeeping. I use soap and water to remove the dirt and grime. Simple Green on the oil based crap and Xenit on the Cosmoline under coating. I have lots of time invested as you might guess. I like to keep it clean because I do all the work on the car myself and I like to be able to touch every nut, bolt and fastener annually so I know they are tight or torqued properly so that I can count on them when I need them.
The wife thinks I am out of my mind. She is probably right. Getting the undercarriage clean is a bit overwhelming, addictive and rewarding all at the same time..My gear head friends think it's pretty cool.
All I can say is that there are many others on this forum who cars are much cleaner than mine. You know who you are.
Yes the car gets driven. I commute to work ~70 rt, 2-3 days a week in the summer and lots of canyon play....which is really what I bought the car for. Mary hates when I ride the motorcycle. These cars are the next best thing.
We love pics of these cars clean, dirty, inside outside, under, above.....bring on the pics especially when you get the car up on the stands

It is a bit of a dance, but I put the garage door up (important first step), pull the Boxster out first, lower the rack, pull the Cayman out, then pull the Boxster back in. Drive her like crazy and then repeat steps...backwards!
