I think I have finally found "the car" and need recommendations for a good shop to do the PPI/leakdown/compression in Santa Fe or Albuquerque. Anyone have a shop they would trust? thanks guys.

When I lived in Los Alamos I used Hans Wittler's Automotive in Albq. Not sure of address or phone but they are in the book I am sure. Very old school shop with tons of 993 experience - I would recommend them highly.

Thanks porscheralph. That was one of the names i came up with. the other two are the Porsche dealer in Albuquerque or a shop called Jim's, also in Albuquerque. Anyone know anything about those two?

Hi Scott - I left NM in 2004 so my knowledge base is a little behind the curve. The dealer did not have a good rep at that time but I think they may have changed ownership. Never heard of "Jim's". Stick with Hans and you will be happy. They installed my Bilstien HD's and ROW springs, did the lowering and the corner balance. Good luck with your purchase.

Scott -- the absolute best is Russ Kelso who owns Performance Motorcar Investments (PMCI) in Albuquerque. I have been around the Porsche community in Albuquerque for 25 years and he is by far the best.
