Hoping to have a closer look at 94 NB over the next week which the owner claims has speedlines.
3-piece, etched "Speedline For Porsche" 18's
Can anyone identify these because I can't seem to find anything the same on the net. I know they are not RS, any info would be great.

Interesting. They are a RS style center but the wrong bolt heads. Jim Dorociak might be the right guy to answer that question. You can search his name here on the forums
So, how does this work? Someone takes an aftermarket wheel, and etch "Speedline" or "Speedline for Porsche" or "Speedline for Techart" and then passes it off as something else?
Those are RH AL Cup wheels - definitely not Speedlines.
^Agreed - the etching looks like the work of JD...

That's exactly what threw me! I saw the RH wheels and thought they would no way have "Speedline for Porsche" etched on them.
The car is ex UK and now in Australia. Apparently the rims were refurbished not too long ago whilst it was in the UK.

Yep... It's most common for the RH 3.6 wheels to be etched with "SPEEDLINE for PORSCHE" for owners of 964 turbos. The bolt heads are about the only thing to distinguish authentic speedlines sometimes.
I had Jim etch my wheels when he built them - but they are real speedlines, so no biggie.

yes... although usually the owner isnt trying to sell it as something its not. I have heard of people getting the 3.6 style wheels and doing this but not these centers. I had my etch redone when I had the wheels refurbed but mine were speedlines to begin with.
