New here
Hello, just joined this board, what a great resource this is. I am the proud new owner of a long neglected 1996 911 C2 that I just got back on the road yesterday, after 8 weeks of maintenance and TLC. I still have some work to do, but she is running beautifully. I am also trying to determine exactly what model I have. The guy who sold it to me said it was a 1997 C2 S, but according to the VIN, it is a 1996 and does not have the S designation anywhere. Anyway, looking forward to learning from all you Porsche experts. Happy New Year!

congrats and welcome! Post some pics, and we'll immediately know if it's an "S" or not. Also, we need options and color naturally.
