Default Arena Red wheels on a Arena Red 993?

I have seen a few 993's with matching wheels, white on white, black on black, silver on silver and blue on blue. Do you think arena red wheels or accents would look terrible on an arena red car?
I wish I knew how to use a photo editor.

Plus, I feel it depends on the wheel itself. If it were say the turbo twists I would stick with the oem silver paint. Perhaps an aftermarket wheel would be better suited for this venture. I like your idea, to bad your not here because I would be happy to paint them for you.
I personally see a lot of black wheels on black cars and it usually looks decent if prepped and painted well but you tend to lose the wheel spoke detail which is to bad because nice wheels give cool cars unique character, especially our 993s
When I'm working on my own work I tend to get carried away with leftover colors, however, I did happen to create a really interesting pearl gold so I saved it to paint my current wheels with.
GL and post pics!

Nope...doesn't look good. Looks like overkill.

I'd put RUF's on like this:

Default Wow ... good timing!

Sooo.... I'm actually doing this. Or, to clarify, I'm in the middle of the process of doing this. I've always loved the 996 Turbo Twist wheels and their offsets on a WB 993 so I bought a set a while back and recently had a shop paint a couple of them Arena Red with a small brushed lip to get an idea of how they would look before I went any further ... and I think they work really well ... giving my car a VERY aggressive/modern look BUT the standard factory paint shade L84S is now too different than the body color of SpeedArena so I'm having that paint custom mixed for the final wheel finish and I'm also expanding the brushed lip width from 1/4" to 1/2". What do you think? I should have them finished and mounted early Spring .... and yes, I know my garage floor is cracked. It's like me, old and cracked ...:-P
