Does anybody like those stripes in the carpet? Does it let you know the carpet is not all matted, or is it just for show, or to distract your eye from something else? I would rather see the nap all go one way.

To answer the question, I think the price is too high IMO, in July I purchased a 1998 c2s black with boxter red interior with 38k miles and with sport seats for $42k, so I think $79k is just way too much

5 owners could be a turn off for some; same goes with the aerokit.

I think the asking price is optimistic; a realistic selling price should be low to mid $50's if there are no issues with the car.

JPP... Seriously... That's an amazing observation. I am always surprised how detail oriented the folks on this forum are. A few months ago, some one was asking about a car, and some one noticed that there was a slight difference in the door/fendor color. turned out it was a hit, that was not being reported.

If I ever post anything again, I'm photo/airbrushing ;-).

BTW... Price.. Seems very high. Also, after 14 years, and only 16k, wonder what has dried out.

JPP, we have to see the option label, perhaps the aerokit spoiler wasn't factory installed. That's waaay too high!

Yes, and only on the left side! Honestly, it's probably just an adjustment issue but could you live with that? I couldn't.

So, just for perspective, an RL'r here in the Bay Area just sold his pristine, heavily optioned and I mean factory, bone stock perfect with all records, midnight blue over Marble grey with dark blue carpets, 993 Twin Turbo with 29K carefully documented miles for $70K or slightly less ... Are you kidding me? This seller needs to put the crack pipe down and get back to class ...

Maybe the company name says something about the demographic they usually serve.... and priced accordingly. A 993 as a Consular car would be awesome.

Looks like it has or had a dead battery too? "CODE" showing on the radio?

No biggie I know, but shows it's starved for love.

I'd say low 50's is the realistic price. Maybe the asking price includes a spare 996 for rainy days?
