Yes, we've jumped into 1:32 Scalextric slot cars for Christmas. Started with a very basic set from a huge dealer right here in El Segundo. My son is crazy for Lightning McQueen and I also had to get a little something for the old man. Still can't locate a 993! Definitely a slippery slope in its own right, but with three less zeros! I used to collect 1:18 scale die cast, but this seems so much more interesting. I'll let you know how it goes...

Oh no. Don't get me started ... I bought a base track setup about ten years ago and started collecting the 356 series ... Rally coupes, speedsters with tops up, tops down, co-drivers reading maps of the Mille Miglia .. then I had to have the two Spyders when they came out (saw them in a Ninco toy store window in Barcelona of all places ...) then I bought the GT1 and GT1 Evo's ... then I started on the early RS's and RSR's .., then it was the Brumo's racing 911 series ... ![crying](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bigcry.gif)

The only thing better than the orange GT3RS is the Signal Green GT3RS! And the only thing better than THAT....would be one parked in my garage!!! Yeah, like THAT's gonna happen. ![Frown](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
JPP, sounds like you need to give your self a Christmas present of unpacking some boxes, blowing off the dust, and reliving a little bit of your "childhood" over the holidays!

This was my first 911. It was in a slot car set with a Mercedes C111, and my brother and I wore out the tires. These Marklin cars were pretty cool; all wheels worked with the front wheels on a pivoting suspension. It was good for throttle-oversteer slides!
