The Porsche ED program costs more because Porsche just chooses to do so.
I forgot the actual numbers but there are significant savings for the manufacturers when you do the European delivery as they export a "used" car not a new one and therefore get a break on taxes/tariffs.
BMW passes on some of those savings on to the buyer while Porsche just refuses to do so and pockets the difference.
