Could anyone tell me where this part goes? I had a car stereo fitted and the fitter left this part in a box with the spare parts .
944.612.332 Tried to look on the parts list and can`t seem to find where it should go and will I be in trouble without it in its place?
I really appreciate your help.

The thick cable is a rodent deterrent? I was horrified thinking its a thick earthing cable. Pheeew
