Something you cannot find in a ROW engine.

It's the remains of your SAI check valve. Nearby you will find a hose with the rotted connection inside.

You mean that black intake manifold on the left edge of the pic?
The one without an elastic holding a small plastic bag over the opening.

I'm saving that for when I find out how much all the head work is going to cost. Or maybe when I try my hand at cam timing.
