Default Front end squeak when i go over a speed bump

I get a front end squeak when i go over a speed bump. The '96 Carrera 2 sat for many years with no use and had 31,000 miles on it when I got it 18 months ago. It now has 36,000 miles. Runs flawlessly except for this annoying squeak. Is this is a simple 'lube' job, or ? Thanks!

Had the same problem. You need grease in the front sway bar bushings, nothing to worry about. Its a real stinky kind of grease, don't remember what kind. It wont hurt if you don't fix it, but it is annoying, so I had it taken care of. You need to loosen the sway bar and lather the bushings real good.

Hope this helps.

Normal. You will have to lube on occasion

Agreed. Had same issue. Lube the sway bar bushes and you'll be golden.

My '96 has a similar problem, LF only. We disconnected the sway bar and retested, no difference.
Current thinking is something in the strut assembly.
