When I had my PPI done, the mechanic said that the car ran strong and since the computer did not show any problems, he said that the leakdown test was not necessary in his opinion. Since I had the paperwork from the PO (an RLr) of his leakdown just 3 years earlier, I decided to forego it. No regrets. Had I not had a level of trust with the PO or the previous documentation, I would have had it done.
