Thanks for the tips. I used to travel here 10 years ago for business and I have been sorely wandering around all week(marathon legs). I'm on wardour st now on my way to the Thai restaurant. This has been relaxing.

Of course there was a line up the street. When I found the hostess she seated me immediately. Traveling solo has its perks. I sat at the window and had a tasty chicken curry. Thanks for a great call on a hopping place.

Glad you liked Busaba!! there's always a line outside, but it moves fast and gives you the chance to meet the people you are going to sit next to!

I already finished the race on sunday and the hills killed me! My target time was thrown out the window when I got a 2:07 split at the halfway mark. I was hoping to be 4 hours but I was lucky to finish in under 5 hours with a 4:56. This is my 8th marathon including 3 ultra races.(31 miles or 50k)
Getting ready to go to heathrow and it is finally sunny just enjoying an english breakfast in a pub with the bright sun streaming in the windows for the first time this week. Oh I can't wait to drive my 993 since it was in the shop while I was gone getting a hard start problem resolved due to a fuel valve. Here is a pic i stopped to take along the marathon route. The greeks really put the 911 up there!

Well at least you finished! A teamate does ultra marathons and he is quite strong on the bike. Couldnt believe like their races were 80kms and plus!

There are some fancy cars in the dealers on Park Lane, and walking up and down will usually find you something rare.

Since we're still talking about London - I'll there next weekend on business and managed to squeeze in the Arsenal /Fulton match. This will be my first game in london. Is there anything in particular I should know to stay safe at the game outside of the obvious.

For one thing, don't let the Fulham fans hear you call their team Fulton!! Avoid pubs and drinking establishments near the ground. Don't get into it with anyone, it can all turn nasty very quickly. Other than that have a great time - the vast majority of people there are trying to have a good time like you.
